Different descriptions of the same economic event can remain separate. Statement memberships describe where evidence appears, not additional independent events.

Narrative attention measures reporting activity relative to its recent baseline. Missing early values reflect the calculation’s warm-up, not zero attention. Benchmark overlays use percentage price changes on a separate axis.
